On 28 May 2005, the West Point Class of 2005 culminated four rigorous years at the United States Military Academy, the nation's oldest military academy. As they entered West Point in July of 2001, they would not have imagined how different the world would be on their graduation day. In their May 2005 issue, Time Magazine featured the West Point Class of 2005. The magazine cover states, "The Class of 9/11."
In the photo on the left, Sara receives her diploma from Lieutenant General Lennox, United States Military Academy Superintendent. In the photo on the right, the graduates toss their hats into the air, a traditional event ending graduation ceremonies and their time at West Point.
